We started Artistrí for one reason.
The internet is being flooded with generic, algorithmically-optimized content. There is more of it every day, and almost none of it has a person on the other end you can name.
We don't think that's bad because of any particular technology. We think it's bad because attention without authorship is empty. A song without a maker is a sound effect. A painting without a hand is a placeholder.

Artistrí is built to be the opposite of that. Every work has a real person, a real process, and a real story. We ask creators to tell us how they made it, what it means, and where AI fits — or doesn't — in their practice.
Curation comes before any algorithm.
We curate carefully, in small groups. There is no infinite feed. There is no ranking. We don't personalize the home page based on what you click. The same collection is on the wall for everyone, the way it would be at a gallery opening.
Commerce comes after connection.
Buying is optional. Some works are for sale, with editions and provenance. Others aren't. The work and the story are the product. The shop is a footnote.
